04 Jan Youth Leadership views 3D printed car, tours Manufacturing Demonstration Facility, and talks “Shark Tank
Members of the Youth Leadership Class of 2014-2015 toured the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility where they learned about new technology coming out of Oak Ridge National Lab. While there, they were able to see the 3D printed car that was featured in President Obama’s visit to Tennessee in January 2015. The class also participated in a group exercise: “Shark Tank” led by Jim Biggs, Executive Director of the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center.
